Candle Care & Safety Instructions

A simple guide to help you enjoy every moment of your candle

On the first burn

Let the wax melt all the way to the edges. Wax has memory, so the way it melts the first time is how it will continue to melt. Giving it a full melt pool on that first burn helps your candle stay even and stops tunnelling later on.

Every time before you light your candle

Trim the wick to about 6mm. It only takes a moment, and it helps your candle burn cleaner, keeps the flame steady, and reduces soot.

During each burn

Let the melt pool reach the edges again. This helps your candle burn smoothly from top to bottom and gives you the most out of every burn.

Place your candle somewhere calm and away from drafts. When the flame flickers too much, the candle can melt unevenly and burn faster than it should.

Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. After that, blow it out, let it cool, trim the wick, and it’s ready for the next burn.

Always keep your candle on a heat‑resistant surface and away from anything flammable. Never leave it burning unattended, and keep it out of reach of pets and children.
